Taking The Decisions Yourself

One of the very important things in life that determine your maturity and your future life is your decision power, the ability to choose what's right and what's wrong, what to pick and what to drop?

1.Just YOU:

Look, no one understands you more good than you yourself, even if you tell your friend something , he/she would still not be able to reach the intensity of a situation at which you stand, he/she may help you in looking at a fact that you may be ignoring or couldn't see but in the end, your friends can provide you accurate option, you've to choose the best for yourself , no one would pick your finger and make you choose something.

Do not rely largely on others for telling you what to do as you know your circumstances far times better than anyone could ever understand. Have faith and belief in yourself and own the decision that you make.


2.Generation of different possibilities

Think about every possibility in the beginning stage. Generate alternatives and different options. It is very vital that at this stage, do not try to judge your alternatives and different options as being right or wrong, just use your mind to generate different thoughts and ideas. Try writing them down on a piece of paper.

One tip that can be very helpful is to think at the end first and then generate possibilities e.g. moving from the end to the start rather than moving from start to the end. 


3.What's wrong, what's right, what's left?:

Take rest and then begin the "Analytical" part by logically thinking and selecting the best possibilities that were generated during the 2nd step. 


4.Weigh and Measure:

Estimate what benefits you would get from making a decision, consider the risks involved and plan strategies to overcome those risks or to minimize them. Think how your decision is going to affect your life and the lives of people around you. See the feasibility of the decision you are going to take.

See all the possible effects that will result when you will apply a decision, you don't have to involve any kind of emotions or feelings while making a decision, if you are tired or not feeling good, leave the task till next day till you are perfectly fresh, then take a decision, consider all the ways in which this decision can be useful or harmful, once you've taken this decision, leave it till the next day and then reconsider it , then you can discuss with your friend if you want to.


5.Don't be shaky on the decisions:

Once you've clearly analyzed all possible things, don't be shaky afterwards to apply it, until and unless you would not take the decisions yourself, you are never going to learn to deal effectively with your life.

It might be possible that the decision you took once , later on proves to be wrong in your life, don't worry then coz success and failures are the two sides of the same coin called life, and important point here is not this that you failed but important point is that you took a decision and now that you've understood what not do next time to avoid failing. Never regret on the decisions that you took coz that way you would lose your self confidence.
