Reason for inspiration:
“The worst illness of our time is that so many people have to suffer from never being loved.” - Princess Diana.
Despite having all the luxuries and comforts of the world that one could possibly imagine, the story of Princess reveals the fact that there lies a longing for a human touch, kindness, the satisfaction that only comes by helping and caring for others. Diana had been involved in plenty of charity works. May be because of troubled life before and after marriage, she had a great concern for the suffering humanity.
Her charity work included support for banning the landmines that could be a huge cause of injury especially to children. She was amongst the very early high profile people who intermingled with people having A.I.D.S. . She constantly lent her support and care for the people suffering from Leprosy and A.I.D.S.
As she stated that she wanted to be queen of hearts, she really became queen of hearts of many people worldwide and it was only because of her concern and sympathetic attitude towards mankind. She also recieved Noble peace prize for her charity work.
If her life teaches us anything, it is only this that the real joy and satissfaction comes by doing something for people without wanting much in return.
