Difference Between Sea, River, Ocean and Lake

Sea is a part of ocean that is partly surrounded by land, it has salty water. There are 108 seas in the world. Since sea is part of ocean, the water of the ocean is also salty but has limitless volumes and no identifiable boundaries. There are 4 oceans in the world namely Pacific, Arctic, Atlantic and Indian ocean. River is different in the sense that it contains fresh water and drains to sea, ocean, lake or other rivers. It follows it's definite course. There are more than 165 rivers in the world and many are small and are not counted, while a lake is fresh water surrounded by land. Lake is still water while rivers flow from mountains and travel downwards. The total number of lakes has not been counted.
