If all flowers had names

For those who view things from a distance
they will always have less sense
of the truth, the reality, the fragrance and the essence
ask the wind and the morning birds
who witness opening of the rose buds
knowing every story and every word
If all flowers had names
we’d run short of words that could explain
the beauty, the softness and the delicateness
the colour, the depth and the vastness
of the flowers, the petals and every drop of the scent contained within
If all the flowers had names
our dictionaries would be all empty
for sometimes no words, expressions can define beauty

Imagine if you could find and hold the sleeping dew drops in the petals hidden
build a castle of dewdrops and give it to someone special
so much what we want to do, so much we want to give
in this world, so much won’t ever come true
beauty is what opens the doors of our heart
it brings inspirations, impressions and leaves its mark
did you ever wish to hear what the birds and the roses talk
or think what the moonlight whispers to the roses when its dark
would you like to hear the stories and conversations between the roses and the stars
after all there must be some special reason why dew drops travel this far
If all the flowers had names
our imaginations and knowledge would’ve reached limitations
for the real beauty is beyond words and the half empty descriptions
If all the flowers had names
our dictionaries would be all empty
for sometimes no words, expressions can define beauty
