Tears after tears

Fed in tears and despair is my heart
my fate has always been so cruel, so taut
on this whole vast land
I find no single piece of peace
no comfort, no ease
I’ve swam across the river of teardrops
to the beauty of red roses and fragrance
in the hope to leave this town that seems so stagnant
building dreams to live happily in a new destination
I happily left my familiar station
But alas! Till the time I reached there
that peaceful land had also been set to fire
finding myself in tears after tears
no news to cheer
Tears after tears
with the world always present to sneer
Tears after tears
with the world always there to jeer
finding myself in sorrows after another sorrows

The nights when I used to dream of a peaceful life
are now filled with the noise of unheard silence
totally lost as if dust by wind, no weight, no credence
inside me and all around me
in this whole vast land
I find no man happy and contended
no new reason to feel offended
the unknown war has burnt my home and lovely trees
where I used to write poems of love
it has all turned to smoke and ashes
abandoning me with horrible memories and flashes
I swam across the waterway of tears
in the hope reach to a calm land
built dreams to live happily on the new destination
leaving away my familiar station
to suffer the isolation
finding myself in tears after tears
no news to cheer
Tears after tears
with no friend close and near
Tears after tears
with the courage finished to veer
finding myself in sorrows after another sorrows
