I’m not a palmist

Life has played so havoc
sometimes I think it’s time
that everything will stop now
and everything will settle peacefully
then I take a look at my palm
the broken lines and crosses on it
seem to increase everyday
is there much more trouble to come
or they all are the signs of an ugly past
I thank God that I’m not a palmist
if I could understand every line and every cross
I would’ve died just at the first day of my life

There’s so much sweat on my head
so much lines of depression
in this street where I live
only loneliness and sorrow play together
I kept on waiting for someone to love me
but never and all the time I was hit by misfortune
I take a look at my palm
the broken lines and crosses on it
seem to increase everyday
is there much more trouble to come
or they all are the signs of an unforgettable past
I thank God that I’m not a palmist
if I could understand every line and every cross
I would’ve died just at the first day of my life
